I played in the band Reportaż from 1983 to 1985 (instruments – Calisia piano, Fazmi keyboard and mini Casio VL1, Polmuz trumpet, vocals, objects)
Reportaż was formed in 1982 at the Poznań High School of Fine Arts as a trio consisting of Andrzej Karpiński, Piotr Łakomy, and Marzena Kaczmarek. A year later, Jacek Hałas joined the group. Lyrics and most compositions were by Andrzej Karpiński, and the group was supervised by Henryk Palczewski.
The unique atmosphere of the concerts was created by original stage design crafted for each performance, with hand-painted visuals and artworks by Andrzej K. The lyrics focused on social relationships and formed an essential part of the “reportage” style message. Reportaż’s music was released on numerous tapes and records by independent labels, and the band had a dedicated fan base attending the rare live performances.
