The purpose of our trip to Voiron, France, was for the duo KAPELA HAŁASÓW to participate in the Polish Festival “Open Your Heart – Ouvre ton coeur à la Pologne,” organized by the CENTRE DES CULTURES DU MONDE / Center for World Cultures (CCM).
The festival showcased various aspects of Polish culture, drawing on both folk traditions (crafts, dance, music) and contemporary art forms (photography, collage). KAPELA HAŁASÓW performed a concert at the festival, hosted the magnificent “Bal Polonais” in the SALLE DES FÊTES VOIRON, and led music workshops at the Voiron Conservatory of Music and Dance.
